Balancing
It’s the autumn equinox today. Days and nights are equal in length, it’s a time of balance. Like it or not the time has come to say goodbye to the summer, to the long bright days. From now on the days are getting shorter, darkness has started to defeat the light.
But it’s also a great time of celebration, a time of harvest and abundance. The orchard is bursting full of apples, there are tomatoes, courgettes, pumpkins in the veg garden and an incredible crop of grapes, just outside the kitchen wall! Thank you sun for the abundance in the garden and for the light.
As this is a time of balance I stop for a little while and relax and enjoy the fruits of this charged summer.
