It’s the first of June today, wow, how fast this year is flying by! Outside the wind is hauling and the rain is battering the only-just- opened pretty floral display in my window boxes. I lit the fire today! I feel a major whinge coming on…

Instead I will focus on some of the wonderful things that May brought me.

The star of the month got to be Mother Nature and our garden, which really is at it’s best in May. Sways of azaleas are full of flowers and the scent in the garden is heavenly.  The trees filled up with green and everywhere you look is just soooo beautiful and full of life.  Our veg garden filled with tasty radishes and fresh salad leaves. We had a couple of picnics in the park and a couple of evenings outside by the fire. How I love a good camp fire!  We walked around the nearby woods and basked in the glory of the bluebells that spoiled us like never before.  I watched all the birds busy bringing up their chicks. Butterflies and bumble bees everywhere. This must be paradise on Earth!
